About the event
What is a life? A journey, a path? Who am I? The paper I am given that tells me my name; the words are already written before I take my first steps. These steps shape me as the words create a path. My journey starts.
Dalton Harrison has a history of many things. The words on the birth certificate said woman, so he decided to start writing his own journey instead. He has been in the anthology Twenty-Eight and wrote for Pink News and Queer AF. Dalton's debut book, The Boy Behind The Wall, tells that journey from poetry to reflective writing.
This workshop looks at these journeys, these words that shape and guide us and the way they can break us but also make us.
